Dassies, monkeys, & duikers on the patio - new packaging – no compromise on quality – international news – ongoing support

I am now happily settled in my new “home in paradise” on the deep South Coast KZN, shooing monkeys, dassies and little duikers off my pavement daily as they drive my little pooches nuts.

I have termed my move as semi-retirement but linked my computer to Linda in Gauteng, who is successfully executing the daily orders like a true pro – thanks Linda.

When the news went out that I was moving, a couple of serious offers to buy the Promix business appeared and while tempting, I could just not let it go, knowing the intent of getting better nutrition to animals at an affordable price and of course the constant and much-treasured letters, messages and pics of how Promix has improved their lives (they are gold to me) would not be carried forward.

Now talking prices and packaging

After absorbing two price increases in 2024, my manufacturers started discussing price increases for next year and, on my objections, they suggested way cheaper ingredients and NO I will NOT compromise on quality, then came the suggestion of adding a little filler and again the answer based on all the positive results is NO, I will NEVER compromise in that department either, as then Promix would just become pretty much the same as the rest of the animal supplements on the market (quality and quantity of top grade animal nutrition has and will always come first for me), so what I finally came up with is, how about refill sachets to cut down on plastic bucket use and price? Costing and availability of sachets will be the order of the new year and will keep all advised.

Exciting international news!

Covid pretty much put a stop to Promix internationally and I am thrilled to let you know that the UK will be getting their first shipment around March 2025 and will hopefully be launched at Crufts.
