In South Africa, the Department of Agriculture is fairly strict on “new” animal feed & supplementation, awaiting registration (the criteria to be able to safely market the product) and have all your claims made on the products justified with accepted and published by the relevant world health bodies such as USA-FDA etc.
However their monitoring the product once registered is non-existing. Promix registered all 8 of our products 26 years ago and not once have we been approached to check what we registered it as stated, and if it still applies.
